Welcome to Less Is More the personal Tumblelog of a digital advertising connoisseur, media man, skier, somewhat avid cyclist, foodie, wine lover, car & history buff.

This is the original Lover’s Leap. Much like Romeo & Juliet, a Native American boy and a daughter of a miner lept to their death. We honor them as skiers by taking a “deadly” drop in, but when is the last time you took a real leap of faith?

Love hard, love strong and love with no regrets.

I better make the drop tomorrow.

Good things for me always came in a fighting way, never peaceful.

Niles: I’m washing my hands of the entire matter.
Frasier: Wouldn’t miss it for the world, would you?
Niles: I’ll be there at seven with a cheeky Bordeaux.

where are you from?

Littleton, CO and until today LES, NYC… then Vail->DC->Chicago->LA->SF->India->NYC->NJ->Pittsburg->DC->Buffalo->India->NYC.  A lot of skiing & photos in between.

Sometime’s things fall into place, and almost always it is never the way you wanted nor expected it.  It could be the exam you thought you would fail, a race you could barely finish, but you kept turning your pedals or pushing that pencil.  Or was it a presentation at work you did not think you were ready for, but many coffee beans later you nailed it.  Sweat, blood, tears; both inside or out reveal the true intentions of your dreams.  I always used to say it is a new day, go get what you want.  With lack of sleep and overloaded work I can’t realize the day or time or see my dreams, so I will leave you with this before I venture to the back bowls…
Don’t just not give up, fight for it all. Negotiate with the shoe sales men, when at a garage sale dig to the bottom of the bin to find a treasured vintage camera, price out cars for the heck of it, check market prices for inventory in media (or others), ask stupid questions, and always give your self a break & a turkey sandwich.  Anyone reading this should know you deserve it all. Now go get it.

~Great job to Musicquotesandlyrics. Follow her guys, she knows cars and has an intriguing blog… what more can you ask for?
FYI the steering wheel is not vintage Jaguar E type series 2.  It is a Abarth Vintage Racing wheel circa 80’s.
Stay tuned every Monday for the nametheauto contest.

kari-shma:

3 days until I leave for Bangkok, Thailand. I can’t even begin to tell you how excited I am for this. This is my third trip to thailand in 12 months. So I guess, I don’t even have to mention how much I love that country.

Also, just is like a fyi: I might be MIA for 10 days. I’m in thailand from…

Bringing the birthday girl no Dylan’s Gummy Bears.  Only nice pictures of them.

Each morning when I open my eyes I say to myself: I, not events, have the power to make me happy or unhappy today. I can choose which it shall be. Yesterday is dead, tomorrow hasn’t arrived yet. I have just one day, today, and I’m going to be happy in it.
